"At the heart of current issues, to understand and uphold action in all its dimensions"

The doctoral program in Applied Human Sciences (SHA), unique in North America, is centered on interdisciplinarity and the research of concrete solutions to humanity's problems. Pursuing a doctoral program at SHA suits the scholar for whom science can and must contribute to improving the face of the world.

The SHA community benefits from the contributions of professors of international renown from several faculties. Its doctoral researchers have a wide variety of profiles, but they are united in their desire to understand the ''Disciplinary Other'' to better establish the paths of action, of intervention (professional, humanitarian, public, etc.) or of applied science.
